Today\u2019s guest deejay is Thomas Meluch, AKA Beno\u00eet Pioulard<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n

Thomas\u2019s music kept popping up<\/a> on Soundwave mixes. It wasn\u2019t until I asked Andrew Tasselmyer<\/a> whom he knew, who might share a mix on the show, and he said Thomas that I understood the universe was trying to send me a message: get Thomas on Soundwave. At least, that\u2019s how I interpret it.<\/p>\n\n

Thomas\u2019s music is warm and intimate. I\u2019m listening to the Communiqu\u00e9<\/a><\/em> album he recorded with Jogging House<\/a> as I write this, and it\u2019s perfect listening for a crisp winter night. I was curious to hear who\u2019d include in his mix. When I saw Jason Corder<\/a>\u2019s offthesky<\/a> project in his playlist, I knew I was in good hands. Whereas Thomas\u2019s music is warm fire to rub your hands to, his mix feels like stepping out to a bracing day with magical side quests. Again, my subjective interpretation.<\/p>\n\n

I\u2019m glad I listened to the universe.<\/p>\n\n

Speaking of Thomas\u2019s music, he has a new vocal album called Eidetic<\/em> coming out on Morr Music<\/a> in March 2023. He also has a Bandcamp subscription<\/a> with lots of exclusive music, and it is constantly evolving.<\/p>\n\n
