Today\u2019s guest deejay is Sasha Puzan, AKA protoU<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n

Oleg Puzan of Line Spectrum, AKA Dronny Darko<\/a> (listen to Dronny\u2019s mix here<\/a> and his Line Spectrum<\/a> mix here<\/a>), recommended his partner guest deejay on the show last year, and Sasha\u2019s mix<\/a> was beautiful and sublime. I invited Sasha back on Soundwave, and she\u2019s delivered another fantastic mix.<\/p>\n\n

While Sasha\u2019s first mix for Soundwave was elemental and cosmic, today\u2019s mix feels cozy and intimate. I\u2019m listening to it as I write today\u2019s show notes, and I wish San Diego would not be so characteristically warm and sunny, and a chilly and overcast day seems more appropriate for Sasha\u2019s mix.<\/p>\n\n

I\u2019ve also been listening to Sasha\u2019s mix while I work at the office. It has been an interesting experience because I launched Soundwave to cope with the stress and isolation of the early days of the pandemic. I\u2019ve been working remotely and listening to Soundwave mixes for nearly two years, and it feels unsettling to listen to the mixes at my office. I\u2019m sure I\u2019ll adjust, but presently it feels out of context.<\/p>\n\n
