Today\u2019s guest deejay is Jon Solo<\/a>, AKA Naneum<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n

Carmen Rizzo<\/a> introduced me to Naneum when he was a guest deejay on Soundwave. Carmen\u2019s mix<\/a> was gorgeous and I invited each musician he featured on his mix to guest deejay on Soundwave as well.<\/p>\n\n

Jon\u2019s mix is equally gorgeous. Whenever I listen to it I\u2019m transported from sunny San Diego to a snow morning in the woods of Massachusetts when I was a boy. I can\u2019t explain why but there is something about the delicacy of the music Jon selected that evokes that experience. That\u2019s the beauty of the mixes on Soundwave, they take you on a journey. I\u2019m curious to know where Jon\u2019s mix takes you.<\/p>\n\n
