When we discover the music of Brian Eno<\/a> we discover that the world of music is far larger and more mysterious that we previously imagined. At least that\u2019s how it was for me. I was first turned on to Eno by a friend to Ambient 4: On Land<\/a><\/i>, Apollo: Atmospheres and Soundtracks<\/a><\/i> and My Life in the Bush of Ghosts<\/a><\/i>, the collaborative album he did with David Byrne<\/a>. Each album blew out the boundaries of what I thought music could be and I was astonished that there was more to uncover in the path that Eno had blazed.<\/p>\n

Take this video, \u201cThursday Afternoon,\u201d<\/a> for example. A moving painting set to ambient music, which is another kind of a moving painting.
