Since I don\u2019t have any guests on this week\u2019s show so I guess I\u2019ll take this opportunity to ramble.<\/p>\n
Today my friend Sandi and I were out driving to go grab a bite to eat. While we were waiting at a stop light a SUV pulled up next to us and playing some bass thumpingly track. It\u2019s not the sort of thing I ordinarily enjoy but I liked it. I think I said those very words to Sandi.<\/p>\n
\u201cWho do you think it is?\u201d she asked.<\/p>\n
I pulled out my phone, flicked through a few screens and activated Shazam. Just as I stuck my phone out the window the SUV sped away. I think Shazam<\/a> only heard three seconds of whatever the SUV was playing and within seconds I had my answer: it was Foz Tee<\/a>\u2018s \u201cShakin\u2019 It for Daddy\u201d<\/a> featuring Nicki Minaj and Robin Thicke. I clicked the button to buy the track from iTunes and in a minute or two it was on my eager little phone.<\/p>\n Think about that for a moment.<\/p>\n I just stuck my hand out the window, heard a fragment of a song and a few minutes later we\u2019re listening to it on our car. And we take that sort of thing for granted. That\u2019s amazing! It\u2019s almost magical. I can\u2019t believe I live in a world where something like that is not only possible, but mundane.<\/p>\n That\u2019s all I got.<\/p>\n Come back and join us again next week when we\u2019ll have two, count \u2019em, two live sets<\/a> by Polyfuse<\/a> and NVR-NDR<\/a>.
