Each week on solipsistic NATION<\/b> I play for you what I consider the very best of all genres of electronic music. However, there\u2019s only so much I can cover in one hour. Each week I try to capture just a fragment of the tapestry that makes up electronic music. It\u2019s a work in progress. In any case, I do have a great show for you today.<\/p>\n
Years ago I fell in love with i am jen<\/a>\u2018s \u201cAt The Same Time.\u201d Shortly after relaunching solipsistic NATION<\/b> as a podcast I asked her permission to play \u201cAt The Same Time\u201d on the show. She said go ahead and I\u2019ve been waiting patiently for just<\/i> the right<\/i> songs to coalesce around \u201cAt the Same Time.\u201d Some might think it obsessive to wait that long (and I would agree with them), and I think I nailed it with today\u2019s show and it was well worth the wait.<\/p>\n I mean, c\u2019mon, today\u2019s show has everyone from Bonobo<\/a> to Trentem\u00f8ller<\/a> on it! I\u2019d have to be a spectacularly bad DJ to put together a show feature music by the likes of them that bombed. And trust me, today\u2019s show is pretty awesome.<\/p>\n Before I go, Tomaxxamot<\/a> mentioned on Twitter that he listened to a couple episodes of solipsistic NATION<\/b> during his drive last weekend and that he liked the Ensorcelled<\/a> episode the best. Glad we could keep you company on your winter drive, Tom \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n I also got an email from Mike and he let me know that he\u2019s listened to every episode of solipsistic NATION<\/b> in 2010 and his favorite was the show featuring Hecq<\/a>. I gotta agree with you, Mike, that was a pretty awesome show.<\/p>\n Mike also said he\u2019s going to send me a copy of his favorite 2010 electronic-music albums as a Christmas gift. Thanks, Mike, that\u2019s really sweet of you.
