Once a month I dedicate a show to a record label that is worth hearing and this week on solipsistic NATION<\/b> we\u2019ll talk with Evan Marc<\/a>, the man behind Native State Records<\/a>.<\/p>\n Native State Records is a west coast electronic music label that explores the boundaries between downtempo, idm, dub, and chillout. I\u2019ve featured several artists from Native State Records on solipsistic NATION<\/b> in the past such as Rena Jones<\/a>, Shen<\/a> and Nalepa<\/a> so it was only a matter of time before I had Evan as a guest on the show.<\/p>\n Evan recently launched Somnia<\/a>, a sublabel of Native State Records. Somnia releases ambient, electronic, minimalist, modern classical, electro acoustic, and \u201cother\u201d recordings.
