There\u2019s a lot of tools I use to put these shows together and I thought I\u2019d share one of them with you today. It\u2019s called Pinboard<\/a>. It\u2019s a social bookmarking service that\u2019s a lot like Delicious<\/a>, if you happen to remember Delicious. It\u2019s okay if you don\u2019t because Yahoo pretty much killed Delicious when they purchased the service. Killing services is something that Yahoo seems to excel at.<\/p>\n

Anyway, the way Pinboard works is that when you come across a website or article or blog post that you want to go back to later, you can bookmark it on Pinboard. You can also tag your bookmarks, include a summary of what your bookmarking and search all your bookmarks or any of the bookmarks others have saved to Pinboard.<\/p>\n

Some people use Pocket<\/a> or Instapaper<\/a> or Evernote<\/a> for bookmarking and I use those, too, but Pinboard is pretty much where I save everything.<\/p>\n

So why am I talking about Pinboard on today\u2019s show? Because I bookmark everything<\/em> that I might want to reference on each episode of The Weekly Mix. If there\u2019s anything that comes up on The Weekly Mix that you\u2019re even remotely curious about, you can find it there. Bands, labels, interviews, videos, all of it is on Pinboard.
